Common use cases
- Hit a minimum word count for an essay or scholarship application.
- Check that a meta description stays under 160 characters for SEO.
- Estimate how long an article will take to read aloud.
- Confirm that a tweet draft fits the character limit.
Limitations
- Reading time uses a fixed 200 wpm estimate — your actual pace may differ.
- Sentences are detected with `.`, `!` and `?` punctuation; abbreviations may inflate the count.
- Inputs larger than 1 MB are flagged but still processed on the main thread.
